         existing files "qedit055.spk" and "qedit055.txt". Thanks.


This is an emergency fix for those using Newsbase 0.55. This version will stop
strange Sender: lines being appended to your messages. This version will still
work with older versions of Newsbase, and will possibly cure the "Cannot post
article" errors.

To install, simply drag the supplied !TCPIPUser on top of your existing
!TCPIPUser.

Features added:

 * Qedit now sets the current Newsbase user to that specified in the From: line,
   thus avoiding strange Sender: headers being added. This will probably also
   cure the "cannot post article" errors.


Future improvements
-------------------

This WILL be the last ka9q-only version of Qedit. The next version is already
being coded for the following transports:

  ka9q       Newsbase    RUCP      Taylor UUCP
  InterTalk  Termite     ARCbbs

If there are any other transports you'd like to see, please let me know asap.
