Description:

I'm absolutely sure that there exists a few people who would like to get their
hands on a Fortran compiler for RISC OS. Anyway, one exists - and it's FREE.
Fortran.zip supports both the Fortran 77 and Fortran 90 dialects.

To use the compiler, you will also need to have obtained a copy of the GCC
front end gccmain.zip.

Please note: although this compiler works OK, it is still in early
development. Not all your Fortran code will compile (due to unimplemented
features) but it is pretty good nontheless.
 
Anyway, besides that little discourager, please please please try the compiler
out since I'm sure it is in your best interests to see a free working
implementation of a native Fortran compiler for RISC OS.

Finally, it is recommended to have at least 4Mb of RAM (the compiler is 1900K)
so 8Mb RAM makes things a lot more useable.
