Title: PGPlot Short: FORTRAN subroutines for scientific graph plotting (v5.11) ShortName: pgplot.arc Author: California Institute of Technology Supplied by Kate Crennell (kmc@isise.rl.ac.uk) Date: 14-nov-1996 Status: Freeware Archiver: SparkFS ================================= Description: PGPLOT is a portable Fortran subroutine package for drawing simple scientific graphs. It runs on most mainframes on various graphics display devices and printers including inkjet and PostScript ones. It was originally developed for use with astronomical data reduction programs in the Caltech Astronomy department. It is not Public Domain. However, it is Freely available for non-Commercial use. It is copyrighted by the California Institute of Technology. The software is provided "as is" with no warranty. Version 5.11 of PGPlot was released by Tim Pearson on 4 Nov 1996. It has several bug fixes to the graphics system but no real enhancements over version 5.10. The PGPlot library supplied on this disc has been compiled with Fortran Release 2 for the Archimedes which must be installed on your Archimedes before you can compile the example programs supplied and run this package. Another new version of the 'Utils' library which works with strongARM is included. Hopefully this one works 100% ofthe time.
